Birth of the Italian Journal of Analytic Philosophy Junior the first Italian journal of analytic philosophy, run by students and aimed at students and young researchers working in various areas of analytic philosophy (formal ontology , semantics, philosophy of language, logic and mind, metaphysics and aesthetics analytic).
DIRECTION AND PURPOSE:
The Italian Journal of Analytic Philosophy Junior was born in January 2010 from an idea by Hector Leonardo Caffo Pitcher and who have seen fit to undertake a student project, open and common.
Italian Journal - Starting point of this initiative is the finding of deficiency in the panorama of Italian philosophical, student publications to disseminate research on the subjects of an analytic characterized by this type of cut: Philosophy of Language and mind, formal semantics and ontology, logic, aesthetics analytic and philosophy of science.
Analytic Philosophy - The magazine is targeted primarily to those concerned with analytic philosophy. The only common denominator is therefore nothing but the presence of a disclosure in the form of argument and justification of its claims as a discursive elaboration essential kit. Central to the aims of the review are: sincerity, openness, intellectual honesty and respect for the guidelines other than their own.
Junior - The magazine will publish articles and doctoral students only. Researchers and teachers of the Scientific Committee will instead be guarantors of the content of these articles. The magazine is looking for a fitness boot and not a point of arrival.
Customary - To ensure complete impartiality and competence in the evaluation of content, and also to avoid any misunderstanding, the wording is committed, as well as to assess the quality of work at its own scientific committee, also not to write itself articles will be published. The editors, however, participate through other types of contributions (interviews, editorials and reviews)
