275th ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDING OF THE FELLOWSHIP
MARIA SS. MOUNT CARAMEL
13 and November 14 we celebrated the 275 years since, at our Convento del Carmine Maggiore, was founded the Brotherhood of SS. Mount Caramel entitled "Coffin", which stands out from the office to carry in processions to the "coffin" of the Madonna del Carmine.
With trepidation and faith is an exhibition that gathered through writings, photos, pictures, slide show, the history of the Brotherhood.
The exhibition is open to visitors on the evening of Saturday 13th and the morning of November 14, has "picked up" the emotions of those present.
Many rushed clinging to the Brotherhood wished her a good journey and a continuous demonstration of faith, ease of connection to Caramel and Our Lady's life every day.
The community together with the Third Order of Friars and 21 fraternities, have shared the joy of our comp in simplicity and friendliness.
culmination of the festivities was the pilgrimage to the Cathedral, where it was carried in procession, singing and prayers, the statue of Our Lady of Mount Caramel and celebrated a Mass of Thanksgiving.
