"Nine months without being able to run have been an eternity! Physically I had no problem: after Sunday's two races at Phillip Island I felt perfectly well, indeed I can say that I had never felt better after a race weekend. Emotionally, however, was a bit 'different: the Thursday before the race I had palpitations every time I thought about going down to the track. Sunday on the grid, however, was a special feeling: I am very happy to be back. "

"Right now I do not feel much pressure from outside. Ten Kate Honda are giving me their support and certainly the greatest pressure comes from myself because I know I can drive fast, but I need a little 'time to become familiar with the bike.
